Personal Statement
My approach to care is rooted in my extensive medical background and training. I provide standardized care and innovative, leading-edge therapy to women and survey my fetal patients. When working with patients and families, I strive to explain and clarify the features of the obstetrics or gynaecology condition and provide a rationale for treatment. My aim is to be comprehensive and to calm any fears and concerns, ensuring that my patients receive the same treatment and personal care I would want for myself or my family.
Throughout my career, I have acquired valuable medical knowledge and experience through medical school, residency, specialty training, and surgical practice. I have attended numerous courses and conferences and learned from many mentors to provide the best possible care to my patients.
Working with women and fetal patients has taught me that they are both delicate and strong, resilient, and equipped with a large capacity for recovery. I have diagnosed fetuses with congenital malformations, and one memorable case involved a couple who decided to continue their pregnancy despite a diagnosis of talipes. The father, who was born with the same condition, was enjoying life, and I assured them that surgical advances were superior, enabling kids to do well. They felt happy and confident with their decision.
I am deeply committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care to all my patients. I believe healthcare is a partnership, and I strive to personalize care to help my patients understand their diagnosis and available therapies to achieve the best possible outcome.
When I am not working I dedicate my time to my family and especially to my sons Max and Milen and the walks with our dogs – Berty and Maila. We love exploring new places in the community.
